This position provides administrative support to one or more departments handling a wide range of administrative duties/related tasks in a confidential and professional manner requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill and knowledge of policies and practices.
Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:
Provides administrative support to managers by preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, answering and managing incoming calls, arranging conference calls, management of calendars, managing appointments and travel arrangements, handling meeting conflicts and prioritizing and communicating issues.
Creates and edits memos, letters, spreadsheets, pivot tables and presentations in support of management.
Prepares and maintains daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Plans and coordinates events and on/off site meetings, ensuring all logistics are in order including any catering and audio and video set up.
Opens, distributes and prioritizes mail. Maintains a well-organized filing system.
Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously and follows through on issues in a timely manner.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent typing, grammar, spelling and proof reading skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, as well as solid organization and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Proficient level computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of standard office administrative processes and procedures.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The majority of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
