KONE, Inc Scheduling and Order Analyst in Moline, Illinois

We are looking for a Scheduling and Order Analyst who would receive jobs from project managers, analyze incoming modernization orders, schedule the necessary engineering activities, and lead weekly scheduling review meetings with Sales Application Support Team. Once project is finalized, you will setup ship dates with the various branches, finalize in SAP, and schedule final engineering. You would work closely with project managers, branches, Front Line Purchasing and engineering to expedite orders through the system as required. You will also generate reports required on a weekly and quarterly bases as requested by Engineering Manager and Business units and follow our KONE S-Plan to train people on how networks are setup and used.

Essential Functions:

  • Review incoming modernization orders for accuracy and clarity. Correspond with KONE’s front line offices regarding any discrepancies. Acknowledge receipt of all modernization orders.

  • Financially recognize modernization orders in SAP.

  • Input and track new mod orders into database and spreadsheet for future reference and financial reporting.

  • Review each order and unit level requirements and schedule the necessary engineering tasks. Run weekly engineering schedule. Lead weekly scheduling meetings.

  • Monitor progress of engineering activities to insure they are completed as scheduled. Update networks accordingly and confirm critical milestones. Follow-up with engineering on tasks.

  • Input and maintain group delivery dates in SAP. Follow up on jobs needing dates. Handle projects that need to be Cancelled or put on Hold status.

  • Communicate with KONE Front Line Purchasing as necessary.

  • Communicate with KONE factories on related deliveries.

  • Communicate with KONE Elevator Front line as necessary.

  • Build job folders for Elevator Modernization orders.

Experience:

  • 1+ years related experience and/or training preferred, but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or technical degree or equivalent work experience.

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Behavior:

  • Working knowledge of SAP.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, Excel, and required software programs.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.

  • Organizing and Prioritizing skills necessary.

  • Able to work within time constraints to meet deadlines.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively work with KONE’s SAS, branches, and other division personnel.

  • Ability to multi task (booking jobs, scheduling activities, Financial recognition, and completing reports)
