Implements inventory audits and other related inventory transactions to measure accuracy. Compiles inventory audit requirements with the client and other companies. Works out reports of inventory. Supervises/Work Directs salary and/or wage personnel (Cycle Counters lower level Inventory Analyst).
Monitors and coordinates various manufacturing and/or materials processes to insure they are functional designed e.g. Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Process cycle counting process or disposition of excess material. Works to resolve inventory related questions and issues e.g. participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy. Coordinates and analyzes daily monthly and/or annual inventory audits e.g. engine audits or audits to test the financial accuracy. Prepares and reviews various perpetual inventory reports. Provides work direction and/or coaching as necessary to less experienced personnel; ensures completion of administrative support to the Human Resources processes.

Ensures that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product. Oversees and ensures that the inventory is correct and on time and identifies problems and makes suggestions involving production schedules. Ensures material logistics follow the client Production Systems principles. Coordinates the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within a smaller group of the factory. Typically an initial position in the organization.
Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, the movement of rejected material to source. Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management. Finds root cause of material shortages. May provide recommendations for solutions. May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials. Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance. Counts and resolves inventory errors and provides direction to cycle counters. Responsible for ensuring daily counts are completed as well as any request counts from Supply Management.
